ABBA's Greatest Hits

ABBA's doing a show in the Valley, and it's simply beyond words! No, we're not talking about the Swedish musical superstars from the 70s. ABBA's is A Buncha Book Artists from Arizona State University's School of Fine Arts, are showcasing their thought-provoking handmade books during a month-long exhibit at The Paper Studio in Tempe. These artist books provides a sampling of the many different avenues of exploration available to artists who make books. The content of the art pieces ranges from the traditional literary to the exploration of educational and social issues. Come and see how the artists incorporated fine and non-traditional bindings, as well as different materials and techniques used to interpret text, images and themes.
