Night Visions

For this series of mixed media images, I wanted to explore the concept of dream fragments. These are strange, humorous or crazy bits of images, vague feelings or partial stories that linger after awakening. Humor and anxiety have been common threads that weave through my work as a means to explore the layers in the human psyche. Some may consider dream fragments as meaningless or insignificant because they cannot be placed into the context of a whole dream story but for me, they are juicy morsels ripe for visual investigation.
