Tree Free Handmade Decorative PaperIt seems that everyday, we have clients searching for "green" papers. At The Paper Studio, we make recycled paper every week and we save all our paper trimmings, cardboard boxes, as well as cotton and linen clothing just for this purpose. We teach letterpress classes so brides can make their own invites using handset type, printing on an 1950's clam-shell press (which means no motor, operated by your own arm power) and soy based ink. Letterpress is a great example of recycling old presses--our oldest one is from the 1890's to our newer ones from the 1960's. Our recycled invites are tree-free--made from recycled cotton or linen rag, cardboard boxes or discarded plant fiber.
EnvirosaxThe philosophy of Envirosax® is to help create a better future for our planet by spreading the environmental message through colour and script using the Envirosax® eco-friendly reusable bag as the vehicle.Envirosax is proud to help protect the environment for tomorrow’s generation by providing an eco-friendly alternative to disposable shopping bags that have caused so much damage to the environment worldwide. Envirosax bags are lightweight, portable, waterproof and each one holds the equivalent of two supermarket plastic bags thanks to reinforced seams.
More Eco Friendly PaperIn addition to the paper we make at the studio, we have hundreds of other eco friendly papers.
Decorative Indian Prints PaperOur India papers are acid-free and wood-free handmade papers (paper made with waste cotton rags) that are in harmony with the environment.
Japanese Decorative PaperOur Japanese papers are made from Kozo (paper mulberry) fiber. It is the most widely used fiber and the strongest. It is grown as a farm crop, and regenerates annually, so no forests are depleted in the process.

Lokta handmade paper is eco-friendly--there are no chemicals are used in the manufacturing process, it is tree free, shade grown, organic and sustainable. This handmade paper is not only acid free and archival, but also accepts laser printing on the smooth side.
